Meet Father Christmas

No festive season is complete until you've paid a visit to Father Christmas. He'll be coming to Nostell for three weekends in December with a sack full of presents for children who've been good all year.

  • Booking not needed

Find him in a cosy corner overlooking the gardens and once you've said hello, received your gift and written your Christmas letter, follow the festive trail outdoors.

The basics

Suitability
Assistance dogs are welcome.
Meeting point
Head to the ticket office on arrival.
Other
You don't need to pre-book to see Father Christmas, just head to reception as soon as you arrive to buy your tickets and book your time slot on the day, which will be between 10.15am and 2.15pm. Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis so make sure you get here early to avoid disappointment. You'll need a garden admission ticket for everyone in your party (National Trust members and under 5's free) plus a £7 ticket for each child to see Father Christmas. As we get very busy, there may be a wait of several hours between booking your slot and seeing Father Christmas. You'll find plenty to see and do in the house and gardens and tasty treats in the café whilst you wait.
