Head into the garden this Summer for a fun, free activity filled day for the whole family to get involved in.

Look out for the family-friendly interactive outdoor installation in the garden, designed by artists Wild Rumpus to pique curiosity and inspire children to play. The installation will have activities for a range of ages all through out the Summer holidays, perfect for a fun family day out.

Running from 23 July to 4 September, 10am-5pm, this event is free. Normal admission applies.

What is Gift Aid?

Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.

Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:

  • Gift Aid Admission
  • Standard Admission

If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.

Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.

An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:

What to bring and wear
Dress appropriately for the weather. Some of the activities will not be sheltered, so hats, sun cream and water is advisable.

Uckfield-Sheffield Park bus service

On Tuesdays during term time a free bus service operates from Uckfield Bus Station. Spaces are limited so pre-booking is essential. The service offers a convenient way to visit during Autumn Colour as you only need to book once.
