Wiltshire Landscape walking challenge

This is an opportunity to discover more of Wiltshire's iconic landscape, rich in archaeology, wildlife and plants. You can enjoy beautiful open spaces and challenge yourself to complete all twelve walks at our landscape sites.

The walking challenge pack includes a map holder, a set of twelve self-guided walks, information about the walks and a free cup of tea at Avebury. Each walk describes the landscape as you go. So why not embrace health, feed your curiosity and challenge yourself. If you complete the walks by the end of the year you can enter a draw to win a Cotswold Outdoor voucher.

The basics

Suitability
Unfortunately dogs are not welcome at this event.
Meeting point
You can purchase the walking challenge pack via the National Trust online shop.
What to bring and wear
Please dress appropriately for the time of year. Sturdy walking boots are recommended as the ground can be uneven and muddy.
Accessibility
Not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs. Note: Dogs are not permitted on the Stonehenge walk, but are welcome on a lead and under control on the rest of the walks.
Other
Once purchased the walking challenge pack will be sent to you by post. The walks are self-led and can be undertaken at your leisure, at any time you wish. If you complete the walks by the end of the year you can enter a draw to win a Cotswold Outdoor voucher - details included in the pack.
