Come and discover the stories of volunteers across the county in the ‘We the People’ exhibition, which will open at Petworth House before continuing on its tour. The exhibition is run by Chichester Culture Spark, which is highlighting art and culture in the region, and celebrates the role and commitment of volunteers within these communities and charities. Visitors can see this photographic exhibition and discover volunteers’ stories, including from Petworth House, from Monday 30 May – Sunday 12 June, 10am-5pm.

What is Gift Aid?

Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.

Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:

  • Gift Aid Admission
  • Standard Admission

If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.

Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.

An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:

Meeting point
This exhibition is being held in the Battery House. Ask for directions upon arrival.
Accessibility
The exhibition is located in the Cowyard, which has steep paths to reach it. The exhibition itself is on the ground floor.
Other
For entry to the exhibition via Petworth House and Pleasure Garden normal admission prices apply. The exhibition can also be accessed for free via the pedestrian entrance to the cow yard, located on North Street.
