There are so many ways to play at Gunby, either on your own or with family and friends. Make summer a time of special memories with games galore.
Enjoy a game of Skittles, spin around with a Hula-Hoop or get hopping along in a Bean-Bag or Egg and Spoon Race.
Every Friday throughout August from 2pm until 4pm, you can learn how to play a British delight - Croquet. Join a member of our friendly team to get to know this entertaining pastime on the spacious lawns with the house as your backdrop.
Spend a portion of your day going on an adventure to the ice house pond where you will find magical and colourful fairy houses to spot.

What is Gift Aid?
Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.
Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:
- Gift Aid Admission
- Standard Admission
If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.
Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.
An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:

The house is closed on Thursdays and Fridays. Pre-booking is advised and is for your arrival slot for the car park and gardens. The house can't be pre-booked.
Saturdays to Wednesdays a limited number of times tickets to visit the ground floor of the house are allocated from 11am on site on a 'first come, first served' basis on the day of your visit. Last admission to the house 1:40pm.
To avoid disappointment please book in advance, especially at busier times such as weekends and bank holidays. However, where space is available on weekdays, pre-booking may not always be necessary. If you do not book we cannot guarantee admission.
Not all parts of the property may be open on the day you visit.
Free general admission for National Trust members and children under 5 years old.
