Wimpole in Bloom
Join us this summer to discover Wimpole in Bloom, a celebration of our summer gardens as they showcase a floral display.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Discover the gardens at their best as they come alive with colour throughout the summer months. From late May right through to August, the Walled Garden showcases a vibrant floral display. From blousy peonies and our tropical glasshouse display to bright herbaceous borders, new highlights bloom week after week. Discover the new rose beds in their first bloom by the Gardeners Cottage and spot a range of wildflowers in the parkland.
To help you keep up to date with what’s blooming at Wimpole and find the best spots in the garden, our garden team will be sharing their highlights on our new display in the visitor centre and on our social channels throughout the season.
Families can enjoy Wimpole in Bloom too! Have a go at fun flower-themed activities throughout the gardens and in the house. Discover how pollinators help flowers to bloom, dance like a bee and get to know nature as you spot the activity signs and games around the garden. Head into the house to spot the hidden blossom fairies and help to identify the flowers in the library carpet.

What is Gift Aid?
Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.
Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:
- Gift Aid Admission
- Standard Admission
If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.
Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.
An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:
|Amount paid by visitor||£11.00||£10.00|
|Tax refund from Government*||£2.75||£0.00|
|Total received by the National Trust||£13.75||£10.00|
