House tickets: October

To enter the house at Tyntesfield, you'll need a ticket. These can be pre-booked or picked up from the ticket office on the day.

Afternoon tickets to visit the house can be pre-booked up to 24 hours in advance, and you can arrive at any time between 12 and 4pm.

Tickets are also available from the ticket office on the day on a first come, first served basis.

Last entry to the house is at 4pm, with the last tickets given out at 3:50pm. On 29 October this changes to last entry at 2pm, with final tickets available at 1:50pm. You then have an hour to explore before the house closes.

What is Gift Aid?

Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.

Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:

  • Gift Aid Admission
  • Standard Admission

If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.

Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.

An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:

Please note...

Car park charge of £3.00 per vehicle, per day. Parking is free for National Trust members with a valid car sticker and membership card. Free parking with designated spaces for Blue Badge holders, coaches and motorcyles.

20% off voucher for café and shop for visitors arriving by bicycle or by public transport, available from the Ticket Office at Home Farm visitor centre.

What to bring and wear
You'll need to walk to the house, so please dress appropriately for the weather. Stiletto heels are not allowed in the house.
Accessibility
There is a mobility bus for Blue Badge holders and those with genuine need. The ground floor is suitable for wheelchairs. Please see the main access statement on the homepage for full details.
Other
National Trust members park for free when you scan your membership card at a car park machine. All other vehicles £3 - payable in the car park on the day. Blue badge spaces are available.
