Celebrate the season with delicious festive food
Our catering teams have been very busy preparing festive menus to celebrate the best of the season!
At Speke Hall, after a winter walk, tuck into an afternoon ‘hot toddy’ and a slice of iced Wet Nelly cake – a traditional Liverpool speciality. Speke is also offering mulled wine tastings, a Tudor ‘Minced Meat Scone’, alongside home made shortbread, mince pies, and traditional roast lunches.
Festive lunches including Christmas pudding and brandy sauce are on the menu at Quarry Bank. The chef is also creating traditional cakes with a twist – so why not go along and taste for yourself?
Christmas lunch in the Stables Restaurant at Dunham Massey is a must. Choose from a range of tempting festive dishes including turkey, ham and cranberry pie or roasted root vegetable, chestnut and Stilton crumble – delicious - you’ll need to pre-book though!
At Lyme, go for a winter walk across the estate - head to the Timber Yard Coffee shop for delicious, warming soups, scrummy mince pies, hot chocolate and other festive goodies. It’s open daily (except Christmas Day). For something a bit more substantial try the tea room, open weekends throughout November and December.
