You’ll find the hedge maze at Belton House, in Lincolnshire, in the pleasure grounds of 17th-century mansion.

The house, set in 36 acres of formal gardens and 1,300 acres of deer park, is regarded as the most complete example of an English country house, thanks to its collections of books and silver, among other things.

The maze was originally planted in 1890, but became overgrown after the Second World War and was removed. The maze you and your family can enjoy today was replanted in 2000.
