You’ll find our traditional Lakeland camping barn (which sleeps up to six people) right at the heart of the campsite, surrounded by stunning scenery that will make your stay even more special.

Perfect for families or small groups of friends, the two storey stone barn provides a cosy spot to relax after a day out exploring the fells.  Inside, you’ll find a well equipped kitchen and dining area downstairs complete with a large woodburner, perfect for warming tired limbs while someone rustles up something delicious. Head upstairs via a spiral staircase to the sleeping platform, where you can also throw open the large barn doors to the driveway, which is also helpful when you’re unpacking the car as you’ll just need to climb two big stone steps to get all your stuff inside.

Outside, why not make use of the BBQ area to sit back and soak up the fantastic Lake District scenery?

What do I need to bring?

Like a camping pod, you’ll still need your sleeping bags and pillows as just a camp bed is provided on the sleeping platform. Toilets and showers are also in the main campsite facility block.

What does it cost?

In 2019, the cost is £165 per night – this is for exclusive use of the barn. Please note there is a minimum booking of two nights and at bank holiday weekends, a minimum of three nights.

You are welcome to bring your dog to the camping barn.
