Find new ways to help tackle climate change

We’re tackling the causes of climate change by reducing our own emissions, caring for the land that captures and stores carbon and planting millions of trees. There are lots of things you can do too, whether that’s planting or sponsoring a tree, swapping to green cleaning products, or starting a compost heap.
Climate change can be overwhelming. But imagine if everyone took one small step each to tackle it. Added up, these small actions can make a huge difference. Your positive actions could inspire others, whether you plant your own fruit and veg, or try to reduce your single-use plastic waste
Small steps for big change

Green cleaning
Do you want to eco clean your home? Natural cleaning products and old-fashioned methods, like those on our online shop, are becoming more popular. A GuppyBag in your washing machine can also trap micro-plastics.
Get composting
Educate yourself on what can be composted. You'll be surprised at just how much can, including food scraps, newspaper, tissues, stale toast, eggshells, coffee and tea granules.
Heating your own home
You can use a small biomass boiler or stove to heat your home. Most boilers burn wood chip and food compost. Even if you can't burn your own compost it’s worth contacting your local garden centre in case they want to use it.
