Friends of Gawthorpe Hall

A view of the south front of Gawthorpe Hall, Lancashire

The Friends of Gawthorpe aim to educate the public by the promotion, support and assistance of Gawthorpe Hall and in particular the Rachel Kay-Shuttleworth collections of embroidery, needlework, and lace, together with the Hall's library collection.

The organisation aims to raise funds by annual subscriptions, staging special events and functions of general, cultural and educational interest to the public.

These funds are used to acquire additional amenities to the Hall and its grounds, and make acquisitions for the collections and library when the acquisition is associated with the collections.
