There are lots of ways to enjoy being active on the north Cornwall coast. You’ll find outdoor providers who offer climbing, coasting and surfing at a number of locations and all those listed here are licensed by the National Trust.

Climbing at Maer Cliff (near Bude)

Shoreline Extreme Sports provide climbing lessons near Bude, at Maer Cliff. They offer beginner and intermediate levels. You can find out more here.

Outdoor Adventure also provide fully guided climbing experiences in the Bude area; ideal for those who have some climbing experience and who wish to enjoy the exhileration of cliff climbing. More details here.

Coasteering at Bossiney (near Boscastle)

If you’re looking for something to get your adrenaline flowing then coasteering could be for you. You’ll be scrambling and jumping from rocks into the sea and in one of the most beautiful locations you could imagine.

Surfing at Sandymouth beach

The north Cornwall coast is famous for its great surfing beaches and Sandymouth is definitely one of them. Whether you're an experienced surfer or just learning, Sandymouth is the ideal place to catch some waves. RNLI life guards are on duty during the main season.
