There's plenty of space to run about on our 1000 acre estate and a new 50 things trail to enjoy outside. In the garden you can spot birds and discover the cottage where one of the Victorian gardeners lived and during school holidays there's a free trail to follow in the garden too.
In the house you can learn about some of the servants and get hands on at our touch and discover tables, where you can learn to fold napkins, brush hats, identify creepy crawlies and dial the old telephone.
Kids also enjoy playing with the Victorian toys in the family school room and practising their handwriting on slates. There's always a free trail to keep them interested as they go around the rooms as well, with things to spot for younger children and points to ponder for the older ones. It’s a family day out with a difference!
