Top five holiday cottages

First you need a beautiful place to rest your head. Somewhere comfortable, perhaps with a view of the sea? Or countryside walks the moment you step outside the door?

  1. Malt House, Cotehele, sleeps 6
Sitting near the water, with the historic Cothele Quay below , and yet only 10 minutes from Plymouth, this cottage has a balcony and it's very own integral tower.
  2. Dairy Cottage, Gwendra, Veryan, sleeps 2
With far reaching views out to sea, this cottage is one of five in Gwendra; perfect for a group getaway by the beach.
  3. Ferris's Cottage, Trelissick, sleeps 4
This pretty whitewashed cottage used to be home to a Trelissick gardener and sits in a lush spot surrounded by trees.
  4. Stable Cottage, Port Quin, sleeps 4
You can gaze out over the Atlantic from one of the many wide windows of this coastal cottage, or enjoy the fresh air on the patio.
  5. Count House Cottage, Botallack, sleeps 2
Once home to the workshop of the neighbouring Count House, this cottage has a sheltered garden and sits on a stretch of coast dotted with hints to its mining history.

Once you've got that sorted, its just case of deciding what you feel like doing today.
