Keeping the coast beautiful

If you took all the skips we filled with marine rubbish in South West Cornwall and stacked them one on top of the other, they would be as high as the Statue of Liberty.

Keeping the coast beautiful

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Whether it’s a BBQ on the beach with family, surfing with friends, walking the dog or day dreaming of a coastal paradise. 63% of people consider the coast important to their quality of life and most of us have a special place on the coast loved either for its beauty, breath taking views or personal memories.

The National Trust cares for over 300 miles of coast in the South West, working hard to protect and preserve our beautiful coastline for nature and people. But this beauty comes at a cost – it costs us £3000 to look after a mile of coast each year. By giving a donation, however small you are helping to keep our coast in tip top condition and looking amazing for ever for everyone.
