We’re delighted to welcome campers back to Llanborth Campsite. We’d like to say things are business as usual but as we reopen, we don't have all of our usual services and activities available. Please read this page carefully as it may mean you need to bring a few extra things with you.

Arrival Times

Please arrive after 2pm.

Departure times

Please leave by 11am on your day of departure.

On arrival

You'll find on arrival at the site that the barrier gate will have a sanitizing station that we please ask you to use at any time you enter or leave the site using the gate and padlock.

Staff will be available via phone or email for any queries you may have.

Chemical waste facilities

Our chemical waste facility for campervans is located adjacent to the main gate as you enter. Please practice social distancing if you’re queuing for the facility and observe our one person at a time rule that’s currently in place. There’s also a sanitising station located here.

Toilet/shower blocks and extra facilities

We don’t offer site-specific facilities, but there are public toilets located at the Penbryn Car Park near ‘The Plwmp Tart’ that are open every day until 5pm every evening (during the summer period only). You’ll find a sanitizing station here, as well as social distancing queuing and a one person at a time system in place.

Size of Vehicles

The site welcomes campervans and small motorhomes suitable for the average campervan space of 4.5m x 8.0m. It does not accept larger vehicles or caravans due to restricted access on the approach roads.

Dogs/pets

Llanborth is a dog-friendly site and all well-behaved dogs are welcome at no additional charge. They must be kept on a lead at all times and exercised away from other campers. Please pick up after your dogs right away.

Dogs are not allowed on the beach between the months April and September, however, you can walk your dog from the campsite to the woodland area which can be accessed from the main visitor car park and is the start of the coastal path.

Quiet please

We want everyone to enjoy their stay at Llanborth, please be considerate to your neighbours and keep noise levels to a minimum particularly between the hours of 10pm and 8am.

Fires/Barbecues

Campfires and Barbeques are not allowed on the campsite.

Problem or complaint

Every reasonable care will be taken to ensure that the camping pitch, pod or bothy and also site amenities are presented to a high standard. Should you find any cause for complaint, please immediately contact one of the campsite staff, so that reasonable steps can then be taken to rectify the problem. National Trust will not normally make any refunds in respect of complaints made after the Visitor’s departure from the campsite if the Visitor did not make the problem or complaint known to staff during the Visitor’s stay. If you supplied an email address at the time of booking, a survey will be emailed to you for your comments after your stay. Alternatively, a comment form may be completed and left at the campsite reception. All complaints made after the Visitor’s departure should be made in writing by post or email to:
