Marlow National Trust Association draws members from Marlow & District as well as towns and villages such as Henley, Bourne End, Flackwell Heath and Bisham.
We were formed in 1984 and currently have some 450 members who enjoy our range of events such as Holidays – both in the UK and Overseas, Daytime Outings and Evening Meetings with guest speakers. These events enable us to support projects at our local National Trust properties including Hughenden Manor, Cliveden, West Wycombe, Grey’s Court and Nuffield Place plus National Appeals such as the White Cliffs and Churchill’s Papers. In the last 3 years we have donated over £20000 to such causes, and well over £100000 since 2000. Many of our members also act as volunteers at local properties.
Although we have a thriving membership and indeed a short waiting list, we welcome new members who would like to meet others with similar interests, who are attracted by our programme and are members of National Trust (or its affiliates). Our current membership fee is £7 per person p.a. including our Bi-Monthly Newsletter in electronic form or for an additional £5 p.a. a delivered, printed version. The Newsletter contains details of our programme, booking forms, and reports etc on all our activities.
