We’ve sadly taken the decision to close our parks and gardens, in addition to our houses, shops and cafés, to help restrict the spread of coronavirus. We know that people are likely to need space and fresh air in the coming weeks and months and we will do all we can to provide access wherever possible. Our countryside and coastal locations remain open with parking charges waived, but we encourage people to stay local and observe social distancing measures.
Ask our retail assistants for our special Croft souvenirs which include mounted stable poster prints, mugs, magnets and books which feature many of the historical and folklore stories about Croft and its parish.
We also have a working vineyard in the walled garden which produces a deliciously crisp white wine. Pick up a bottle from the Stables shop, depending on availability, for a particularly unique momento.
We've got a selection of local real ales including the award-winning Aunty Myrtle copper ale along with a great range of crisp Herefordshire ciders.
Look out for the lovely Handmade in Ludlow cakes and the traditional pocket sweets which are a great accompaniment to your journey home.
Pocket money picks
We've got outfits fit for a king with our children's costumes. The castle and dragons range is great for boys and girls of all ages and contains a variety of books, toys, costumes and games.
Take a look at our '50 things' range so your little ones can tick off their list before they're 11¾. The children's pocket money range is one to look out for and includes outdoor, indoor, imagination and learning games and toys for your little ones.
Pick up a plant
Look out for our selection of plants. We have shrubs, perennials, spring bulbs, planting accessories and a garden wildlife range, designed to help you bring your garden to life, just like ours.
We've received lots of donations of books thanks to a recent appeal. Come and browse the shelves to find a special gift for someone or a gripping read.
All proceeds from the book shop go towards our conservation projects at Croft and we're always pleased to receive any of your own unwanted books so don't forget to bring those along too when you visit.
