Writing Places, the partnership project between Literature Works and The National Trust is looking for two Writers in Residence from September 2017.
The first residency of three months (September to November 2017), will be at Greenway, the holiday home of Agatha Christie near Brixham in South Devon.
The second residency, of two months (September and October 2017) will be at Hardy’s Cottage, the birthplace of Thomas Hardy near Dorchester in Dorset.

The residencies do not include accommodation.
The residencies are available as 3-month and 2-month fixed term contracts of service for freelance professional published writers.
The Writers in Residence will be paid a monthly stipend of £1,000 to include all expenses.
