Christmas at Felbrigg Hall
From enjoying a walk on the estate to a mince pie in the Squire's Pantry, celebrating Christmas 1940s style, singing Christmas carols or doing some Christmas shopping, there's something to suit everyone at Felbrigg Hall.
At Felbrigg Hall we're all about traditions this Christmas, whether it's keeping up old ones or creating new ones.
Celebrate a traditional 1940s Christmas with us in the Hall on Friday 11, Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 December. This year we're going back in time to 1945 and celebrating the end of the war. With staff and volunteers dressed in costume, re-enactors, displays, and the ground floor showrooms decorated appropriately, imerse yourself in the festive 40s attmosphere.
One of the long standing Christmas traditions at Felbrigg Hall is our annual outdoor carol service 'Carols in the Courtyard'. This year it will be held on Sunday 13 December at 3pm. The Cromer and Sheringham Brass Band will be providing the musical accompanyment and Cromer Town Crier Jason Bell will be officiating. Its a free event and theres no need to book - all we need is for you to come along and join in with the singing.
If you're getting cabin fever or just want to walk off the excesses of Christmas then get out and about on the Felbrigg estate. The grounds are open daily from dawn till dusk and are a walkers’ paradise. You might even spot some of the migrant birds that make Felbrigg their home during the winter months.
If you're looking for that special gift or Christmas treat then look no further than the shop at Felbrigg Hall. We're open from Thursday to Sunday, 11am - 3pm, until Sunday 20 December so there's time for last minute Christmas shopping.
Why not call into Squires Pantry after your walk or shopping trip? With traditional favourites such as warm mulled wine, hot apple and cinnamon and mince pies on offer there's no excuse for not getting into the festive spirit.
