Eating and Shopping

A view of the courtyard at Felbrigg with seating outside the Pantry

Enjoy browsing in the shop - with local produce and seasonal items there is always something to tempt you. A hot drink, a bowl of soup and a sandwich or a one pot meal in the Squires Pantry, and you can bring your four legged friend as well.

The Squire's Pantry

Offering a selection of hot and cold drinks, freshly made sandwiches, a variety of one-pot meals, scones and cakes. Just as the changing seasons bring different things to Felbrigg, the dishes in the tea-toom reflect the current season, so expect winter warmers on your next visit.

Alternatively if you've a sweet tooth, a large fruit scone, with clotted cream, jam and your choice of tea or coffee for £5.50 is served all day. Childrens lunch boxes, to eat in or take on a picnic, are available for £4.50 - any 5 items from a selection with healthy options available.

Most of our dishes are simple to make at home and you could try the recipes below, or you may like to buy the National Trust cookbook now available in the shop.

Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome in the tearoom, and in the courtyard where a water bowl is provided. So you can enjoy a good walk around the estate, and then a welcome break inside or out depending on the weather.
