Visitors finding out more with a National Trust room guide

If only these walls could talk! Our volunteer room guides are passionate about family stories, art and interiors, and love making people feel at home. They know all the must-see items, and help us to share the ways we’re looking after them and play a valuable part in safeguarding our interiors and collections.

 21st July-2nd September 2016 

14 days-Thursdays and Fridays

 
This unique volunteer placement also has the opportunity to get up close to the collection before the house opens to the public. You will have the chance to support some of the ways we manage our collections; from preparation of the rooms to databases and museum accreditation- It’s all great experience to add to your CV. 
 
This role will suit you if you would enjoy spending time in fabulous rooms full of interesting objects and history and being part of a varied and enthusiastic team.  We would love to hear from you if you are …
 
  • Full of enthusiasm and looking to use your people skills to welcome and inspire visitors of all ages
     
  • Interested in Felbrigg – don’t worry you don’t need to know the history, but as a volunteer you’ll soon pick up lots of facts.
