One of the best things about Christmas is not only seeing all your family and friends but the hearty food that comes along with it. Bring everyone together with a Christmas lunch at Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal and tuck in to delicious festive fare from our kitchens.

Tuck in on Tuesday 10 December until Thursday 12 December and also 16, 17, 18 and 19 December.

You can choose from two or three courses for your Christmas meal. Have a look below at the menu for this December – we suspect that you’ll be tempted by all three tasty courses!

To start choose from:

Homemade soup of the day with fresh crusty bread

Natural cured smoked haddock fishcake with a watercress, rocket and leek salad, poached egg and wholegrain mustard and dill mayonnaise.

A salad of mulled pears, Wensleydale blue cheese, roasted red onions and toasted walnuts.

For your main meal pick from:

Traditional roast turkey served with roast gravy, pigs in blankets, sage, onion and apricot stuffing, roast potatoes and cranberry sauce. 

Slow braised Fountains Abbey estate venison casserole, served with herb and cranberry dumblings.

For your pudding, tuck into a choice of:

Homemade Christmas pudding with brandy sauce (V)

Raspberry and white chocolate terrine with orange shortbread and raspberry coulis (V)

Cranberry cheescake with vanilla ice cream and winter fruit compote (V)
