Winter scents

Spring may be on its way, but there are plenty of winter delights to still take in in the gardens. In the Cherry Garden find the appropriately named ‘Wintersweet’ and the shrubby, winter-flowering honeysuckle.

Signs of spring

With all the mild weather we’ve been having, the garden is really beginning to come to life.

There are many things to start looking out for around our estate and gardens; starting in the car park with primroses coming out in the wild flower area. The snowdrops are not to be missed near the maze either. Look out for the patchwork of spring bulbs near the maze that are just starting to pop up!

Have a look at the trees

Look out for intriguing shapes in the trees around the estate.

Get up close inspecting the interesting patterns on some of our trees. The Cinnamon Bark tree near the house and the Paperbark Maple near the drive are definitely two to go and examine.
