Places to stay on the Gunby Estate
Why not extend your stay when you are next visiting Gunby Hall and Gardens? There are three lovely places to choose from on the Gunby Estate: the grand Old Rectory, the quaint Whitegates and the romantic Orchard Cottage.
The Old Rectory
This elegant 18th-century Rectory is perfect for a large group or celebrations as it has six bedrooms sleeping 11 guests.
The regency rectory is built from local red-brick and lies close to the tiny church of Bratoft village. With delightful large gardens and wonderful views across open countryside, this peaceful large house is ideal for family gatherings or friends' reunions.
Tucked away in a quiet corner of the Gunby Estate, Whitegates Cottage is a cosy, two storey cottage constructed of traditional mud and stud walls. Dating back to 1770 it has been restored retaining the original doorways, floors and low beamed ceilings using traditional methods and materials.
Relax in the former gardener's cottage and benefit from access to Gunby's gardens outside of normal opening times. It sleeps four with two bedrooms, making it the perfect base for a getaway with friends.
