Take a walk to Gunby's Ice House Pond or venture further afield to Monksthorpe Chapel. Take a look at our downloadable trails and how to book Nordic Walking sessions.
Walk to the Ice House Pond
This short walk will take you past St Peter's Church and across the parkland to the ice house pond. On your way back you get a lovely view of Gunby Hall in the distance.
Explore the wider estate and see what wildlife you can spot with a visit to our renovated ice house pond.
Walk to Monksthorpe Chapel
Put on your walking boots and venture out through the Gunby Estate to nearby National Trust property Monksthorpe Chapel. You can collect the keys in the Gunby tea-room before you set off (£20 cash deposit).
Discover this unique secluded chapel, which was built in 1701 to look like a barn in order to keep it hidden, and has a rare open air baptistry.
Walk to the remains of Bratoft Manor
Explore the Gunby parkland and grounds for a four mile walk to the church in the nearby village of Bratoft. You will pass the remains of Bratoft Manor where the Massingberd family lived before they moved into Gunby.
This trail takes in the historical lumps and bumps of the former Medieval village of Gunby.
