Tick off some of your '50 things' this half-term. There will be family fun across the estate, whether you’re visiting the Hall, gardens or the park.  Please note - activities in the Hall and garden do require normal admission charges.

Exploring the outdoors
Every day in the garden there will be a different '50 things' activity to take part in from Plant it, Grow it Eat it to Wild Art. Take the opportunity to tick another challenge off your list. If you’ve not started your '50 things' challenge yet, why not start yours now?

If you fancy taking advantage of nature springing into life, explore the woods down Lady Spencer’s Walk. You can borrow a woodland bug hunting kit, complete with an identification sheet from the Visitor Centre to help you.

Exploring inside the Hall
Visit the Hall and find out more about Hardwick’s collection this year.  Try the new internal internet information on your phone or tablet in the Hall, where you can discover more about the hidden meanings in portraits. Why not include everyone in a family 'portrait' and take your own #Hardwickselfie? Have fun learning about the furniture and create your own labels too. How will you describe the sea dog table?

Make the most of those warmer, sunnier days and enjoy a family picnic, relax in the garden on a deck chair or get active playing in the Stableyard. There’s lots to do at Hardwick this May half-term.
