Enjoy an afternoon of Tai Chi at Hare Hill
We hold Tai Chi sessions in the walled garden at Hare Hill through the summer months.
Tai Chi is a system of slow controlled movements that improve your balance, flexibility, strength and coordination. This gentle exercise, which is suitable for all ages, also aids relaxation and keeps the mind calm and focused.
Emma Hill, head gardener says: 'The walled garden with its all white borders provides a delightfully tranquil environment which is ideally suited to Tai Chi. Participants will be able to extend their feeling of well-being by exploring the garden and surrounding woodland.'
About the sessions
Tai Chi sessions are given by Xianglin Li, a Tai Chi tutor who trained in China and already runs several other successful Tai Chi classes. The sessions are suitable for everyone, ranging from absolute beginners to those who have experienced Tai Chi before.
Dates and times
The Tai Chi sessions run in the Summer months (weather permitting), starting on June 2, at 2 pm on Thursdays. Each session lasts an hour and costs £7.50 (£5 for National Trust members). Please wear loose, comfortable clothing.
