Sylvanian Families trail at Hatchlands Park

Sylvanian Families figures at Hatchlands

Discover the Sylvanian Families nature trail at Hatchlands. This is the first nature trail in the UK to feature the collectible toy brand Sylvanian Families, it's part of the celebrations to mark their 30th anniversary.

Free to all visitors to Hatchlands Park, the nature trail leads Sylvanian fans of all ages through Centenery Walk, a beautiful area of recently planted woodland, prompting them to discover interesting facts about the surrounding wildlife and trees.
Pick up an activity sheet from the reception and then have fun testing your knowledge of nature with help from the clues provided by the lovable characters Freya Chocolate Rabbit and Ralph Walnut Squirrel, who are pictured on the information boards. The answers to the questions can be found among the fun facts on our activity sheets. You’ll also discover a picture to colour in, a tricky maze to complete and a chance to draw your own animal.

Make sure that you don't miss the fun wooden sculptures of Sylvanian characters when you're winding your way along the woodland walk. Local chainsaw artist, Steve Francis has created larger than life sculptures of Freya Chocolate Rabbit, Ralph Walnut Squirrel and Abigail Bramble Hedgehog for children to discover as they follow the trail and solve the puzzles.
The Sylvanian Families trail will be coming to an end in December 2017. If you’d like more information about this trail you can email us or call us on 01483 222482. To keep up to date with the trail and everything else happening at Hatchlands Park, you can visit us on Twitter or Facebook.
