Winter at Hidcote 2018

With an extra special guest, the chance to get creative decorating our tree or making a beautiful wreath, spending some time at Hidcote in the lead up to Christmas is sure to put you in the festive mood.

Wreath making workshops

Our popular wreath making workshops are now all sold out. All greenery used to make your wreath will be from the garden so you really will be taking a piece of Hidcote home with you. You will be guided through how to make a beautiful wreath to hang on your door or use as a centre piece for your table. Workshops take place in our Potting Shed, where the fire will be lit and the sounds of happy chatter and Christmas songs fill the room as you get stuck in to making your wreath.

Decorate the tree

From 24 November until 9 December we need your help to decorate our tree in the Drawing Room. Each weekend there will be a different Edwardian inspired ornament for you to make and hang on our tree. You could even make two and take one home for your own tree.

Wintry walks

This year we are using a brand new route around the garden to help you enjoy the best that Hidcote has to offer in the winter months. Pick up a copy of the route from visitor reception before you start your journey around the garden. With highlights of the garden, views to stop to admire and hints and tips for your own garden over winter it will help you really make the most of your visit this winter.
