Family fun this autumn at Hinton Ampner

As the weather gets colder, it's the perfect excuse to grab your wellies and woolly hats and get out of the house for some fresh air. Set off on our new Tree Trail in the ancient parkland, which is littered with golden autumn leaves to jump through and scoop up. With red noses and cold hands, come and warm up in our café before getting back out into the estate at Hinton Ampner this autumn.

Half-term tree trail

Saturday 21 – Sunday 29 October, 10am – 5pm

Our autumn family tree trail delves into the myths and legends of our ancient trees, with creative tasks to complete on this adventure through Hinton’s gardens and historic parkland.

Be inspired by the secrets of our ancient trees and write your own myth as you complete the trail. With the chance to get all the family involved, explore your imaginative side with our spotter trail for tiny tots and creating legends for those budding writers.

Suggested donation £1 per trail to help towards our conservation work. Every visit you make with your family helps our garden team continue looking after wildlife, for example, by building log piles for stag beetles.
