Rhossili, South Wales

Rhossili sits on the western edge of the Gower Peninsula. With its exposed beach break, it offers consistent waves all year round, small enough for beginners. If you want bigger swells and a longer ride, head to nearby Llangennith.

Protruding from the northern coastline, the Llyn Peninsula catches the Irish Sea swells. Porth Neigwl and Aberdaron on the southern fringes have consistent waves both for beginners and pros. For winter or spring surfing trips head to Porthor for the best of its waves.

Hywyn 

This bright, three-bedroom apartment takes up the ground floor of Henfaes house and is located near to Aberdaron beach.

Located on the Plas-yn-Rhiw estate, this stone cottage boasts stunning views over Hell's Mouth Bay. Although its name may suggest otherwise, Hell's Mouth is a perfect mellow surfing beach for beginners.

Freshwater West and Manorbier, West Wales

These popular surfing beaches can be reached within a 30 minute drive from our cottages. With its dramatic and rugged landscape, Freshwater West is a reliable surfing spot all year round. Manorbier on the southern tip has a reef break producing larger swells. Stick to the sandy side of the bay if you’re still finding your feet.

Stackpole Byre 2 is a 30-minute drive to Manorbier to the east and Freshwater West to the north-west. Plus it sits on the Stackpole coastline, so you'll have wonderful sea views.
