About Badger Cottage

This courtyard cottage sits on the Crom estate, with the Lough Erne just a short walk away.

Badger Cottage is a traditional style stone farm cottage complete with wooden sliding sash windows. The cottage boasts an open fire and steps out onto a number of fantastic hiking trails.

With the jetty just over 100 metres from the cottage, you’ll struggle to leave this beautiful spot and watch the world float by. You could hire a canoe or bring your own and paddle along the river, discovering its narrow channels and scattered islands.

Further afield, the town of Enniskillen is just a 20 mile drive away. Visit the town’s historic castle, fascinating museum, independent shops, cafés and traditional inns. As a guest of Badger Cottage you’re invited to a free house tour of nearby Florence Court during its open season.

About the Acorn rating

We have applied a 1-5 acorn rating to each cottage to be used only as a guide that covers location, style of interior and facilities you may be looking for. The range runs from 1 Acorn at a more basic level such as Bird How which due to its stunning yet remote location doesn’t have a caretaker through to 5 Acorns at the highest level – such as Shute Barton.

Cottage pricing is not judged on the Acorn rating alone and as all our cottages are of an individual nature we recommend that all factors are considered when making your choice.
