About Little Breck

A hill-top bungalow with views down the valley, close to Colby Woodland Gardens.

Rising from a valley with views towards Amroth, sits this three-bedroom bungalow. It was built in the 1970s for Miss Mason, the donor of the Colby Estate which is located just 400m from the cottage. The cottage has adapted facilities for wheelchair users.

Walk down a nearby lane to Colby Woodland Gardens and its tea-room. There are lots of events that take place here, from food festivals to twilight walks, so be sure to check them out before you go. You’ll also be a short distance to the coast at Amroth, where you can loop onto the Pembrokeshire Coast Path for stunning seascapes towards Gower and Caldey Island.

Hop in the car and drive 16 miles to the Stackpole estate. Discover the estate’s beautiful coastline with its wealth of sandy beaches and wooded valleys. Its calm seas and sheltered coves are perfect for canoeing and kayaking. Hire one at Stackpole Quay or book onto a guided tour.

About the Acorn rating

We have applied a 1-5 acorn rating to each cottage to be used only as a guide that covers location, style of interior and facilities you may be looking for. The range runs from 1 Acorn at a more basic level such as Bird How which due to its stunning yet remote location doesn’t have a caretaker through to 5 Acorns at the highest level – such as Shute Barton.

Cottage pricing is not judged on the Acorn rating alone and as all our cottages are of an individual nature we recommend that all factors are considered when making your choice.
