About Carmarthenshire tourSpend a week helping to conserve the wonderful county of Carmarthenshire, from coastal cliffs to woodland walks.
A special week at a wonderful time of year, we will be visiting coastal cliffs to manage vegetation on limestone pavements, repairing steps, clearing woodland regrowth, litter picking and a host of other possible activities, its all about the variety with this holiday.
About the accommodation
Dinefwr Bunkhouse forms part of courtyards adjoining Newton House of the Dinefwr Park Estate. The combined living area and kitchen are homely and sociable, with large sofas and a wood-burning stove. Bedroom accommodation is in dormitories with 3 to 8 single beds each and modern, newly refurbished shower rooms. There are fantastic views over the seventeenth-century deer park from the patio which is reached from doors off the living area and has wooden bench seating and a barbecue. The old kitchen for Newton House is situated below, and the basecamp would once have been used for servants’ accommodation.
