About Clearing the way for chalk grasslandHelp restore rare chalk grassland on this special part of the South Downs.
After years of unchecked growth come and join us on this epic scrub clearance mission. Help restore rare chalk grassland habitat as we tackle thorny scrub to open glades and let light back in. You will contribute towards helping manage a special part of the South Downs to benefit our threatened wildlife.
About the accommodation
Slindon Bunkhouse is a converted stable block on the 1,400-hectare estate at Slindon between Arundel and Chichester. The estate is typical of the South Downs with rolling hills and farmland set against a background of woodland and hedges. In addition to that it has an ancient deer park and various archaeological sites. The bunkhouse has a recently refurbished kitchen and seating area with sofas.
Facilities: garden, open fire/woodburner, washing machine.
Bedding: Only mattress cover provided.

What to bring: Stout footwear, waterproof jacket and trousers and clothes you don't mind getting dirty
