About Dinefwr Food Festival

Help out with this popular event which celebrates the culinary delights of Wales with chef demonstrations and plenty of stalls.

You will be helping the property staff and regular volunteers to deliver a fantastic festival of local food to our visitors, there will be lots of activities to help with from children's crafts and car parking to stewarding and raffle sales, we will be helping our stallholders set up and take down too, it's all about a warm Welsh welcome a memories to last a lifetime.

About the accommodation

Dinefwr Bunkhouse forms part of courtyards adjoining Newton House of the Dinefwr Park Estate. The combined living area and kitchen are homely and sociable, with large sofas and a wood-burning stove. Bedroom accommodation is in dormitories with 3 to 8 single beds each and modern, newly refurbished shower rooms. There are fantastic views over the seventeenth-century deer park from the patio which is reached from doors off the living area and has wooden bench seating and a barbecue. The old kitchen for Newton House is situated below, and the basecamp would once have been used for servants’ accommodation.
