Hedge-laying is an ancient rural skill that has been used to preserve Dorset hedgerows for centuries. Come and join us for a weekend of hedge-laying to get a taster of how to do it and learn the basic skills behind this rural craft under the expert guidance of our award-winning rangers.
About the accommodation
Offering peace and tranquillity in a unique location. The basic accommodation has two bedrooms with bunk beds, lounge, dining room, kitchen and bathroom. There is a garden area with picnic benches and a barbecue. Situated in an elevated position on Stonebarrow Hill with magnificent views overlooking Lyme Bay and across to Golden Cap and Chesil Beach. As part of the Golden Cap Estate it offers access to over 25 miles of footpaths including the South West Coast Path.
