About MTB Trails - Build and Ride

Help us to develop and improve our mountain bike trails in the secluded woodland valleys of the Stackpole Estate.

Come to the beautiful Stackpole Estate and help to develop our mountain bike loop in the secluded woodland valley on this stretch of rugged Welsh coastline.  There’s already a 4-mile trail through the natural woodlands of Castle Dock and Cheriton Bottom Woods, with climbs, twists, turns and jumps to test even the most experienced rider. The focus this year is to build a short skills loop to help encourage new riders to have a go, and to repair and improve some of our existing trails. Bring your bike (and your helmet, which you’ll need to wear during work hours) to test as you go, and you’ll also be taken to explore other local trails on your day off.
In the evenings, walk from your accommodation at the Stackpole Activity Centre to relax on one of our fantastic beaches, like Barafundle. Close by you’ll also discover tranquil wooded valleys, even more award-winning beaches, wildlife-rich lily ponds and miles of walking trails. Or, if you’re keen to keep your adrenaline levels high, then this corner of west Wales has a thriving coasteering scene too.

About the accommodation
