About Surveying ‘The Rise of Northwood’Get closer to nature while helping to chart the success of a woodland restoration project.
Spend a week immersing yourself in the wildlife of the Slindon Estate, and be involved in the largest woodland regeneration project ever undertaken by the National Trust - coined ‘The Rise of Northwood’. You will survey plants, invertebrates, butterflies and birds so that we can chart the progress of this long-term project.
About the accommodation
Slindon Bunkhouse is a converted stable block on the 1,400-hectare estate at Slindon between Arundel and Chichester. The estate is typical of the South Downs with rolling hills and farmland set against a background of woodland and hedges. In addition to that it has an ancient deer park and various archaeological sites. The bunkhouse has a recently refurbished kitchen and seating area with sofas.
