About Tracks and trail running
Combine your love of running the trails and repairing the trails in one holiday. If you love exploring the great outdoors and you love running or have always wanted to run, then this trail-running holiday is for you. On two of the days you will help the rangers repair some of the coast path and on the other two days you will be led by a qualified trail-running coach who will also advise on nutrition, training plans and strength and conditioning needed for trail runners. The distances covered will depend on the experience and fitness of the group and can be split if experience and fitness varies.
About the accommodation
A stone-built barn that was converted in the 1970s and is situated on the Watersmeet Estate on the North Devon coast. The bunkhouse provides a warm and comfy place to relax after a hard day’s work. There are two dormitories, a leader’s room and bathroom upstairs plus an additional bathroom downstairs. There is a pleasant garden with picnic benches and a barbecue. If you want to venture a little further, there is a delightful country pub a short walk away. The views of the coast and surrounding countryside are dramatic and spectacular.
