About Victorian gardening
Join the Cragside gardening team to help look after our fantastic gardens.Help us to look after our wonderful Victorian gardens in beautiful Northumberland. Projects during your weeks stay will include helping to change our bedding schemes in the formal garden, Rhododendron pruning in the largest rock garden in Europe not too mention the chance to explore the 1,000 acres of stunning landscape created by Lord Armstrong 150 years ago.
About the accommodation
The bunkhouse is a traditional conversion of two cottages formerly used for Victorian woodland workers. Located in Northumberland, just 12 miles from Alnwick and in the centre of the vast Cragside Estate. There are fabulous views overlooking Tumbleton Lake and surrounding hills.
Facilities: garden, washing machine, tumble dryer.
Bedding: No bedding/linen provided.
Notes for guests
What to bring: sturdy work boots recommended.
