About Woodland wondersHelp the ranger team at Gibside look after its eighteenth-century landscape.
Gibside is one of a few surviving eighteenth-century designed landscapes and was fashioned with two things in mind: spectacular views and ‘wow’ moments. Come and help us look after our woodland and gain an insight into the work of a National Trust ranger.
About the accommodation
Gibside Stables Bunkhouse is situated on the first floor of Gibside Hall’s restored stable block, a Grade II* listed Georgian stables set in the centre of the Gibside Estate, a mixture of historic park, farmland and woodland. Accommodation is made up of bunk-bedded dormitories, kitchen, living/dining room and male and female showers.
