Enjoy a family holiday or weekend break at our Waterclose Meadows campsite on the banks of the River Ouse.

Ideal for walking, canoeing, fishing and close to historic Cambridge, Anglesey Abbey, Wicken Fen and Wimpole Hall, there are few places as enjoyable and relaxing as Houghton Mill campsite.

Opening times

The campsite is open from 20 March - 2 November.
 
All advance weekend bookings are subject to a minimum two-night stay.
 
Arrivals between 1pm and 8pm. There is no late arrivals area.
 
Pitches must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure.
 

Pitches

54 caravan / motorhome pitches with electric hook-up (max outfit length eight metres)
 
15 tent pitches - some with electric hook-ups
 
Flat grass pitches - no hardstandings.
 

Facilities

• Toilet block with disabled facilities.
• Chemical toilet disposal point
• Fresh drinking water
• Laundry facilities.
• Small shop selling basic items and gas.
• National Trust tearoom nearby.
 

Directions

Set in peaceful rural Cambridgeshire, not far from the historic market town of St Ives, the campsite has easy connections to the A14, M11 and A1(M).
