Cadbury Egg Hunt at Hudswell Woods

A family admiring spring flowers

Bounce down to Hudswell Woods on Saturday 15th April where the Cadbury bunny has been leaving lots of clues and enjoy a yummy chocolatey prize at the end!

Discover this ancient woodland, wildflowers and wildlife on this fun family nature trail. What will you see and hear? How many hops if you skim a stone? And what is Arthur's oven? Bring your wellies, put your thinking cap on and come prepared to explore this magical place.

Visit our What's On page for full details of the event.

" A lovely time was had by all the family on this fantastic nature trail. Highlights include watching the kids race to find the next clue, spotting a kingfisher on the banks of the River Swale and of course the chocolate at the end! See you next year. "

If you can't make it to the event, Hudswell Woods is open all year round and is a fantastic place to visit, particularly at this time of year when the first fresh greens of spring return, the flowers begin to bloom and the air is filled with the aroma of wild garlic. Enjoy a walk through this beautiful ancient woodland or have a picnic on the banks of the River Swale, with over 5 miles of footpaths there are plenty of opportunities to explore this picturesque site.
