Alice! White rabbit trail
Daily, Sat 22 July - Sun 3 September, 10am-5pm
Get the whole family involved as you follow the white rabbit on a trail through the woodland. Can you find all twelve giant pocket watches as you follow the rabbit's journey through Wonderland?
The woodland paths at Hughenden are steep in some places, although managable with a sturdy buggy, those with younger children may find a baby carrier useful.

Young adventurers can make a pop-up dormouse in a teacup at weekly craft days . Drop in on Thursdays and Fridays to pick up your craft pack.

Time for tea?
Head to Hughenden's stableyard cafe or Dizzy's for tea-room your own tea party. Pick up a kid's lunchbox (stableyard cafe only) complete with activites and stickers, or try some wacky Wonderland inspired cakes. There's also a range or cakes, sandwiches and drinks available, and hot meals are served in the stableyard cafe 12noon-2.30pm daily.
Brought a picnic with you? Head to the picnic orchard with plenty of space to relax and play.
Enjoyed Lewis Carroll's story? The shop has a range of Alice books and gifts as well as plenty of pocket money items for all ages.
Facilities for families
Baby-changing facilities can be found in the disabled toilet in the stableyard.
Buggies are welcome around site, but not inside the manor (hip carriers can be borrowed free of charge from the front desk). Hughenden is on the top of a hill so some paths are steep and paths through the woodland are rough and uneven in places.
Looking for more things to do? You'll find a woodland play trail adjacent to the pedestrian path from the car park, bug hunts and activities in the walled garden and dressing up inside the manor.
