Summer fun and food

spirit of place food Ickworth

If you've visited Ickworth recently, you'll have noticed (and hopefully tasted) some of our new Summer Menu. Delicious sweet and savoury treats inspired by our history using local suppliers and fresh produce from our walled garden.

Our Cafes will be using our Walled Garden produce in abundance during the summer for delicious treats and light lunches. Discover a taste of Ickworth through special dishes inspired by our stories and the estate.

Never forgetting our famous Scone of the Month, for July it is a beautifully fresh Vanilla and Lavendar, whilst August doesn't disappoint with Blueberry and Lemon drizzle. You'll want to try them more than once!

Our own special ‘Inspired by Ickworth’ recipes have been very popular over the last few weeks –  a delicious Tartlet Printanier, a savoury summer tartlet filled with local and Ickworth grown produce and a herb dressing, or how about Tommy’s Cod Dog, a homemade cod fish fingers with pickled cucumber & a dill mayonnaise in a bun.

A trip to Ickworth is never complete without a slice of cake, so why not act like royalty and try the Red Velvet Coronation Cake - in honour of Theodora's robe returning from restoration.

With our brand new summer menu and beautiful settings in our three cafe's we look forward to welcoming you very soon!
