Winter fun at Ickworth
Ickworth is ready to share its festive traditions with you. Father Christmas, beautiful decorations, crafts and seasonal treats; there is plenty of things to do.
Admire the decorations around the House as we create festive memories for all who visit. Take the chance to go behind the doors of a great house that was traditionally ‘put to bed’ for winter. Discover the stories behind the great house with daily tours, including our conservation tours which will give you a glimpse of the work that goes on to ensure the House and its Collection is protected for years to come.
Our Cafe and Gift Shop are great places to pick up that indulgent treat on your visit. Our new winter menu is full of warming, seasonal dishes - perfect for setting you up before a long, brisk walk across the estate, or why not try our Scone of the Month, a delicious afternoon treat. The gift shop has a beautiful Christmas selection of gifts ready for all those Christmas presents to be chosen! There's also opportunity to create your own natural decorations with our greenery gathering walks exploring the estate.
Join us for our festive Christmas Sparkle event, the perfect day to make magical memories with our traditional activities. Make Christmas decorations and crafts, sit next to the Christmas tree with stories and gifts from Father Christmas, visit our kitchen so your little ones can decorate their own biscuit and for the Adults - warm up with a cup of Mulled wine or apple and a tasty treat. And the family fun doesnt stop after Christmas, our crafts continue into the New Year to keep your little ones busy celebrating the changing seasons.
To help walk off the Christmas indulgence, Ickworth has 1800 acres to explore so why not head furthur afield and discover some new views this New Year?
