Plants and growing

Children planting vegetable seeds

Here at Kedleston we've got some amazing plants from the sea of bluebells in the spring the the some of the oldest veteran trees in Derbyshire. Plants are a huge part of our everyday life but do we ever stop to think about what makes them so important?

Venture out into the woodland and explore the different species of trees we're lucky enough to have here at Kedleston. Look at the differences between young and old trees, deciduous and evergreen and learn about how they grow.

All sessions can be tailored to suit individual year groups at KS1 and KS2.

As our workshops are so flexible we advise contacting our learning coordinator Charlotte Repton to discuss further.
